Steven J. Rocci
Steve Rocci is an intellectual property lawyer whose 39 year practice encompasses primarily patent litigation, counseling and licensing. He draws from his background as an electronics and computer engineer to assist clients in the areas of computer software and hardware, internet, web and database technologies, telecommunications, semiconductors, e-commerce technologies and business methods, as well as various mechanical arts. He has litigated scores of high-stakes patent cases for major national and international technology companies in federal courts throughout the country. Steve has also litigated trademark, copyright and trade secret cases, and litigates patent validity in the U.S. Patent Office through inter partes review (IPR) and covered business (CBM) proceedings. Steve has been recognized by Martindale-Hubbell as Av Preeminent, and by Chambers USA: America's Leading Lawyers for Business, Best Lawyers in America, and the Legal 500 United States, and as Pennsylvania SuperLawyer, among others. Steve is a Fellow of the Litigation Counsel of America, The Trial Lawyer Honorary Society. He taught law school courses in intellectual property law and patent litigation and strategy for nearly 25 years, and held the post of Distinguished Practice Professor of Intellectual Property Law at the Drexel University School of Law.
