Lou Perry

Lou Perry is a litigator who helps his clients with complex trademark, copyright, and domain name dispute litigation in federal courts across the country, before the United States Patent and Trademark Office’s Trademark Trial and Appeal Board, and elsewhere.  In his fifteen years of practice, Lou has litigated on both coasts, as well as throughout the Midwest, and he has authored two amicus curiae briefs in cases pending before the United States Supreme Court. Lou’s litigation practice is augmented by his service as a trusted branding advisor to clients, helping them sort through national and international trademark clearance, prosecution, licensing, and enforcement. Lou has also served as counsel for artists and authors in connection with record contracts and film agreements, the latter somehow resulting in him being cast as a cagefighter in the film Donnybrook—a theatrical adaptation of a client’s novel.
